Notion
Notion decides which pages Minerva can reach at all: you pick them in Notion when you connect it, and connecting again changes them. Within those, you choose per page or database what agents may do. Each permission covers the pages inside.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”| Permission | What agents can do |
|---|---|
| Read pages | Search, read pages and their text, read and query databases, and read comments. |
| Comment on pages | Add comments. |
| Create pages | Create pages and database rows inside the page or database. |
| Edit pages | Set a page’s plain properties, replace text on a page and add text to it. |
Risks to weigh
Section titled “Risks to weigh”- Edit pages can replace text, not only add to it.
- A page covers the pages inside it, including pages added later.
- Notion’s automations can react to what an agent changes. Minerva does not control them.
- Comments and new pages are a way out. Everyone who can see the page reads them, and they can contain anything the agent read.
- Searches can hint at hidden pages. An agent can learn that pages it may not read match a search, but not which.
Where Notion does not show where a page sits, a block on an action anywhere in the connection also blocks it on that page.
What agents cannot do
Section titled “What agents cannot do”Agents cannot move, archive or delete pages. Text they write cannot create child pages, embed content from other sites or mention people. They do not see the titles of linked pages they may not read, synced content from other pages, or rollup, formula and file properties.
