HubSpot

You choose what agents may do with all contacts, all companies, all deals, or the deals of one pipeline. Deals sit inside their pipeline, so access to all deals covers every pipeline.

Permission What agents can do
Read Search contacts, companies and deals, read one, and list deal pipelines with their stages.
Create contacts and deals Create contacts, and deals linked to contacts and companies they may read.
Edit contacts and deals Edit contacts, and change a deal’s name, stage, amount and close date within its pipeline.
Log notes Log plain-text notes on a contact, company or deal.

Companies are never created or edited, but notes can be logged on them.

  • Minerva’s limits are the only limits. HubSpot gives Minerva’s app the same access whoever installed it. Minerva reaches what the app is allowed, whatever the HubSpot permissions of the person who connected it.
  • HubSpot’s automations run. Workflows, and settings such as creating companies from contacts’ email domains, may act on what agents change. Minerva does not control them.
  • Searching deals needs all deals. HubSpot searches before Minerva filters, so searching deals by anything but their pipeline needs Read on all deals. A block on one pipeline then hides its deals, but the results can still show that hidden deals matched.

Agents cannot use tickets, tasks, emails, calls, meetings, owners or custom objects, read notes, delete or merge records, or move deals between pipelines.
