Confluence

You pick the Atlassian sites to allow when you connect Confluence. Then you choose per site or per space what agents may do.

Permission What agents can do
Read pages List spaces, search a space’s pages by title, and read a page with its body, its parent and its latest comments.
Comment on pages Comment at the foot of a page.
Create pages Create a page at the top of a space or under a page in it.
  • Agents act as you. Comments and pages appear under your name, watchers are notified, and a space’s automation rules may act on what agents change.
  • A site covers spaces added later. Access to a site covers all its spaces, including spaces created after you allowed it.
  • Comments and new pages are a way out. Everyone who can see the space reads them, and they can contain anything the agent read.
  • Searches can briefly hint at hidden pages. For a short while after a page moves out of a space, a search can show an agent that a hidden page matched.

Agents cannot edit, move, archive or delete pages. They neither read nor write blog posts, attachments, labels, inline comments or replies to comments. Text they write is plain, without mentions, formatting or links to Atlassian. They do not see the titles behind links to Atlassian or the content of macros.
